About the Amateur Radio operators
Last year, Des (ZS6DEZ) introduced the Cutty Sark Girl Guides to "Amateur Radio operation" during the 2016 Jota/Joti Scouting event.
The Guides enjoyed the participation and the Guides agreed that they would participate in the 2017 Jota/Joti event.
This year, Des will again setup a HF radio for some "long distance" contacts.
He will be joined by Trevor (ZR6TW) who will be setting up a VHF radio.
It is their plan to have available two radios for some "radio fun" during Jota/Joti 2017
